A + W's intimate wedding in Historic Downtown Savannah, Ga was one of my favorites to date. Their reception at Soho South provided just the celebration these two deserved!

They booked me back in the summer of 2023 and I loved every second of planning we did together in the year that followed.

Every aspect of their day was perfect. From her dress and shoes, to the table scapes and their signature cocktails., not a single detail was overlooked.

We started the day documenting her hair and makeup process in their industrial, downtown AirBnb. The giant windows lit the scene up perfectly. As we got closer to the time of the ceremony rain started to fall and the sound of thunder rang out. While plenty of brides would have taken this opportunity to stress and worry about her perfect wedding being ruined by unfortunate weather, this bride was not shaken. All that mattered was that she was going to marry the love of her life. After a masterful pivot on the planner's part, the ceremony was moved into a quaint, nearby chapel, and the show went on.

The ceremony was one of the most meaningful I have ever experienced. Both bride and groom wrote their own vows and every word read was backed up by the truest love and adoration.

Following the ceremony we frolicked in the rain and were able to capture the most perfect bride and groom portraits. And a short trolly ride to the reception venue made for a timeless photo opportunity.

The rest of the night the couple was showered with love and affection from their adoring guests. The food provided by Soho South was the most delicious I have ever had a wedding. The guests enjoyed adorable signature cocktails named after the bride and groom's daughters and they all danced the night away.
